LIFE SKILLS CENTER

Hello, here inside The Morgan Williams Youth Advocate Program we would like to help our youth become better advocates for themselves and others. We want to build stronger peer mediators so that our teens can help each other make better decision making skills through life. With the hopes in their future that they will become our next community leaders.

My name is Tiffany Sinclair and I gave birth to 3 wonderful children who changed  my life and its entirety. My children molded me into the woman I am today. I worked very hard to provide for them, so that they could live a different life then mines. I wanted the best for them . Raising them was not easy! The struggle was real. In poverty where there was so many mishaps in growing my youth ! prayed many nights as my two boys turned to street decisions for there life's. Which made me a warrior in prayer. Life turned around for the better when decision making became different as to life basic essentials. A child was born to Lawrence Morgan which changed his whole mindset to life and life expectations. Lawrence begin to grow as a young man who definitely wanted the best for his son Maurice aka Poothy and along with twin brother Terrence Morgan who he shared a special bond with. Then  Lawrence was murdered at the tender age of 19. We will continue to life out his life and legacy of plans for his future.

I am a parent like everyone else in the city of Rochester, NY.  Tragedy and devastation hit my family and  on Nov. 6, 2013. My mother had two intruders try to invade her home. She tried to keep them out on her own but she was unable to do so, in her fear she called on the one person in her life that made sense. She called out Jesus! My son came to save his Grandma, he was murdered doing just that. Gun violence and violence have never been apart of our family until this day please don't sit around and do nothing until it becomes apart of yours. Like us you can do something about it today!

VOLUNTEER

The President and I both started  volunteering for the organization called Stop Kill'n Start Chill'n.

I Shuane Williams and editor of this web page began as a secretary, then a Youth Advocate Coordinator.

In the very first year we all decided that our youth were in serious trouble  in our city and decided to start a youth program.

Little did I know where it would lead us.
